Hello All,

Unfortunately I had allowed my CCNP/CCDP expire last year. Luckily my employer will pay for me to attend a CCNP bootcamp. Does anyone have any recommendations on a bootcamp. I live in New York, so preferebly something in the northeast would be easier, but anywhere in the states is fine.

Thanks!

Don't you know that if your CCNP/CCDP is expired, you basically need to start from the scratch. CCNA is the exam you need to take. Isn't it?
Besides, you are already an experienced CCNP, would be waste of your company's money and may be waste of your time as well. Although reinforcement of any kind is never bad.

this is one bootcamp site i was looking at some time ago (early last year). they are based in Dallas, Texas. But their bootcamp class moves around all over the country (of course in NY too). They even proclaim that each student gets to play with 3 routers and 2 switches for the duration of the bootcamp which cost near $7000. It is a heck of a big bite outta someone pocket. $$$ is one of the reason i turned them down.

I don't know any boot camps but I reccomend stoping in and trying to meet the teacher first. If I didn't have a teacher I could connect with I would not have gotten my CCNP.

Thanks for your input. Yes I already obtained the CCNP cert, and yes I did have to take all the exams over including CCNA since it did expire as well. The order of exam doesn't matter though.

I ended up going to CCPREP ( and did the bootcamp in Jacksonville, Florida. The training is intense, probably as intense as any type of Boot camp. All and all though, it was just what I needed, passed all the exams during the 12 day bootcamp. Good luck to all!
