Just discovered that a CCR Mailbox node hasn't been monitored so there are about 3 months worth of messages. Any suggestions, other than constantly logging in to Callpilot to check whether there are any new messages, I'd love some suggestions (system or otherwise).

Enable outbound notification for mailboxes without a phone - the system will notify when there is a message

Do they have a supervisor that can monitor the real time screens?

THis will show them if there are any unread skillset mailbox messages.

I see where the number of unread skillset mailbox messages is listed, but I'm not sure that will be a reliable option for us.

The enabling of outbound notification for mailboxes without a phone sounds very interesting, but I'm unclear where to configure that. I've been poking around Call Pilot but can't find where to enable that. Enable message waiting is the closest I've found under the mailbox.

In the documentation for Callpilot Manager and Mailboxes, it describes how to set off premise notification up.

It covers the area regarding reserved channels, and details how to program whether you are using callpilot or norstar voice mail.

These are just regular mail boxes and in the Call Pilot manager there are reports you can run for all the mail boxes or just one. This will tell you if there are any messages.

Not sure if this is the answer for you but I just had the very same issue at a customer. All we did was install a 7208 set (or a 7100 if you want), and for the skillset mailbox, we made this set the ext to send the mwi to, mounted it on the wall so whenver someone leaves a message, the light comes on on the set and one of the agents logs into the mailbox and collects the message. Pretty simple and cheap solution if you have the hardware and licenses available.
