I need an Antivirus with a proven track record on Windows 2000/Server! Please say there are some out there other than NAV..... We've already tried NAV6.0 which has a memory leak problem... and then NAVCEv7.5 which fixed the memory leak, but will not work well (at all) with Terminal Services... Does Symantec not know about this or do they just not care...
All I'm concerned with is protecting my server I'm running DNS,DHCP,WINS,VERITASv8.5, and Active Dir. on this server... Not looking for anything fancy (it doesn't have to do LiveUpdates doesn't need to update clients) The only requirement is that it doesn't CRASH MY SERVER...

All sugestions are welcomed, and appreciated!
Thanks

Sophos - Its very unobtrusive, is a complete server to workstation, good management and updates, and includes with a license the ability to send it home with employees.

We use Trend Micro Corporate Edition. Extremely easy to use and administer. All of your configuration can be set and when a user gets it installed it can be installed silently, password protected, told to scan or not to scan, where you want it installed, how agressive you want to scan files and the list goes on. You can set it up web based or file server based, either way is easy to set up and admin. I highly recommend this product. I purchased this product a little over a year ago when we upgraded to W2K we used Computer Associates before that and I didn't like it at all.

We use NAV 7.51 CE with the new 3.20 NAV Gateway. We are International and get attacked weekly. We have never had a problem. We use W2K Server w/ SP2, and preset our gateway to do auto live updates at 3am daily. The system send emails to our Virus Response Team as soon as a virus is detected. So far - not a glitch - even using TS. Maybe the upgrade to the latest releases will be the answer?
