For some strange reason, we had several shared address books mysteriously disappear! No one will admit to accidently deleting them. We aren't sure if synching to our PDA's might have done it somehow if someone had the incorrect setting. We just can't figure it out.
Rather than bringing down the whole system to restore the address books, we are recreating them manually which is time-consuming.
So, I would like to suggest to you that you backup your address books (shared, personal, or other created ones) to another place on your network to prevent this "mysterious disappearance". All users of the shared address books know where they are backed up, just in case. I back them up ever 2 weeks or more.
Just a suggestion to make life easier....just in case!
