Can anyone help point me to some good PHP resources coming from a CF background?

thanks

There is a PHP implementation of ColdFusion's FuseBox framework, if you are interested:
First, though, I recommend you read through the online manual (the first link above). The manual is set up for very easy, sequential reading, and skimming. Read through as much as you can, starting from the top, and moving down, and you will be amazed at how quickly it comes to you.

Then, spend some time at:

Good! Cold Fusion is so darn easy to pick up I am reluctent to learn other languages, but that is the best way to screw yourself, so php is the next i learn, asp was no fun, poor documentation, seemingly no real standards for the language.

As foir fuse box, I always use index.xxx with actions, and the form / url variable conversion seems to be automatic in php.

thanks for the help, just need to make time to do it now!
thanks
