Hello all, just a suggestion... I've mentioned this particular product before...
Let me preface what I'm about to say by saying I work for an on-site service company, I do dozens of virus repairs each year. For our clients that cannot afford their own mail server, we've used Norton on the desktop. After what I've seen this year, I'm now switching from Norton to Hauri's ViRobot. Here's why...
1. Faster scanning, less overhead on CPU for the autoprotect.
2. Updates are just as frequent as Norton.
3. Detects viruses Norton has missed (I've actually scanned machines that were found to be clean, there were no exclusions or anything, latest updates, removed Norton, loaded ViRobot, bingo, trojans and other memory resident viruses have been found).
4. Has built in spyware scanner and mail filter for spam.
Only bug I have come across, is sometimes you have to go to their website to perfrom the first update, then the softwares update engine can communicate with their servers.
Oh, and because they're relatively new to the US, it takes 3 days for the e-mail to arrive, with the location of your purchased download, but they're working on it.
Check these out, especially the second article. Great test comparisons...
