Hey all,

I'm taking a few "power courses" (the ones they teach in four days) on the fundamentals of Java. I've been programming in other languages for a bit, so this isn't exactly the world's toughest thing for me, but I'd like to practice a bit on the fundamentals before my project starts. Can anyone suggest a quality exercise manual that I can use to practice just the fundamentals (i.e. writing code, writing methods & classes, etc.)?

Thanks,

- MT

When I teach someone Java, I always ask him to write a calc :)

Cheers,

Thanks all! I really appreciate the advice. I think the calculator is a pretty good idea.
