Hi Everyone
Looks like a nice forum. I am preparing for the 210 exam for 3 months now , I read the Sybex book first took the transcender exam(got 540) which told me what areas I am weak in so now I am reading the New Riders(study guide) the topics which I did bad on the exam. I think I am ready but I can never tell when I am ready. I dont know why I am so nervous about taking the exam. Any tips on how to do well in the exam, sugestions to prepare well. I have my small network setup with 2000 server and W2K client.
Thanks

Jazzgeek is right. Practice, practice, practice. Then when test day comes get a good night sleep, eat a good breakfast and dont review anymore. If you dont know it by then you wnt know it for the test. James Collins

Keep taking the transcender tests every few weeks, so you get use to the questions.

The way I study for the tests is I give my self 1 month (three seems to long to remember anything)

At the start of the month I'll read all the information I can get.

Then as I get closer I'll take a transcender (or selftest) and see how I score.

Then I'll go back and study that information again.

Then the week before the test I'll read a text that I've not read yet.

Then the night before and the day of the test I'll do the transcenders (trying to go through all the questions)

- I like to that the tests with the answer now button turned on so I can review the answers that I get wrong right then, not wait till the end of the test when I forget what I was thinking.

Then I head off to the test...

Its worked well for me, but I have more experence than the average person taking the MS tests, since most people take them early in their career :)

Anyway, with three months to go I'd setup a couple of Windows 2000 PCs and run through as many of the diffrent tools as you can, setup everything, keep reinstalling and testing diffrent options, checkout the automatic installs and the scripted install options...

Nothing beats experence, but practicing with the software is a close second. CJ
