Suffix dialling (DTMF dialling) is not working in ACWinIP2

Hi Friends,

in OS4KV7 system installed ACWinIP2 attendant consoles.

After the greeting message clicked on DTMF in console and dialed required extension and it is not working.
But from all the extensions analog,digital and IP is working fine.
I tried by changing pulse speed in RICHT.still the same.

can any one help me to resolve this issue.

The Operator does not need to click DTMF to dial an extension.

The DTMF is only needed if they need to send DTMF tones, like to an automatic bank or an analog voicemail.

I ALREADY CONFIGURED *68 AS DTMFCONV AND IT IS NOT WORKING.
MAY BE REQUIRED ANY PATCH FOR CONSOLE PC .

As sbcsu suggested, when you are on the phone and wish to transfer do not touch anything, just dial the digits and it will go (make sure numlock is on). If you want to place an outgoing call do not touch anything, just start dialing the number. I am not aware of any special settings except for some analog phones I was using for external dictation - I had to set them up special.

What Don says is correct.
Why do you need to dial DTMF from the Console ?

Hi SBCSU
the big bosses ask their operators to dial any land line numbers including extensions after greeting message.
From all phones its working fine and from PC they are unable to dial the extensions after greeting.
There is a soft button in button controls for DTMF and the operators click on the DTMF button before dialing the extension after greeting messages.
Unable to dial the extensions.

They should not be clicking on any button - just dial the digits, and either release the call, or stay on and announce the call and then release. Hands off the button!! )

Turn on the NUM LOCK button on the right hand side of the keypad - at least that is always the problem I experience...

They do not need to press DTMF

Answer call, dial extension DONE
