Hi there!!!

I have enabled specific users to run the mount and unmount commands on specific system. The dilemma I have is that the directory permissions are set to root:root -rwx------ Has anybody an idea of how to set the permission either by changing the ownership or making the permissions rw-rw-rw- ?

Cheers in advance :)

%snr SNRRND = (root) NOPASSWD: MOUNT,UMOUNT

Many thanks, I think I will script the specific chmod process.

well... you need to set permission/owner just once (AFAIK)

-or- you can mount the filesystem with a predetermined owner, permission.. man mount for details, specially -o option.

Cheers.
