This started last week with one user having issues attaching to our NAS. Then it turned into everyone using VPN started getting a lot of Exchange server timeouts with Outlook. I rebooted the RRAS server and it reduced the connection timeouts but it's still extremely slow. When I test from just outside our PIX 506 firewall I only get about 1 MByte of data a minute copying files from the NAS.
I setup this server at the beginning of the year to do nothing but handle VPN traffic. Throughput has been satisfactory until now. No recent updates or patches to the server. Maximum logging is enabled for RRAS but nothing unusual is showing up in the event logs. I've searched Tek-Tips, Microsoft support and the web but so far I haven't found anything to help solve the problem. I plan to reconfigure RRAS tonight to see if this will help. Any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
