Hi,

We seem to have an issue where a form that has been used by accounts for years, suddenly won't let anyone edit records.

It keeps throwing up the message "Record has been edited by another user" message.

I've restarted both SQL servers, recompiled the app, but it just won't work.

What is locking the record, how do I find out if anything is locked and why Access thinks the data has changed?

Thanks,

Ok, solved the problem with the help of :
It seems MS SQL BIT data type and MS Access don't play nicely together.

The BIT column must have a default set and regardless of the data type allowing NULLs; MS Access doesn't.
