I'm not sure if this is a big deal or not but I took notice to something a few weeks ago.

We have two Succession Media Cards on 3 & 13.

When I do a Vgw - vgwShowAll on 3 I get:
Codec = n/a

When I do a Vgw - vgwShowAll on 13 I get:
Codec = G.711-20

My question is, why does it always show up on 13 and not 3?

Any suggestions?

that is only showing on channels that have been used and what codec was used on that channel last. It will also show calls in progress and their codecs. It is just informational. 13 is probably getting all your voip traffic and 3 never gets over flow.

Are the channels assigned in the same zone? I have 3 SMC cards in a 4.5 CS1000M Cabinet (Option 11), and the calls are distributed through all 3 cards.

Another issue that was brought up to me today was, there are some calls that are being dropped during a phone call. Also, when you dial a number, the phone never rings but the number shows on the phone like its dialing.

Could this be a bad card #3 going bad?

On the one SMC at one point had a red light and an error code T20, anyone know what this error means?
