I'm not sure this is the place to ask this. Has anyone heard of the pricing platform Nortel is going to use when releasing Succession 3.0? I heard that they are going to license all sets and software and hardware at a price of approx $48.00 per node just like they do with data products. This would send the price from $1,500.00 per release upgrade as in the past to around 30k plus depending on the number of sets etc.
I also heard that if your system is on release 25.40 and you have a Nortel Vendor Maintenance Contract of 1 or more years by oct.24th that you can get a free upgrade to Succession 3.0.
Can anyone else confirm this???
I don't think this is promoting or selling but mutual help. This could be a real cost saver for everyone using the Meridian Product.
