Hi. I have a very large diagram of my facility and I am
trying to calculate the area and perimeter. However, I do
not want any of the wall space calculated along with it.
Is there any way in Visio 2002 to calculate the area and
perimeter but have the wall space subtracted from the
calculations? Please help! Thanks!

Chad

This is for Visio 2000, but it's probably the same for 2002. Are you using a wall or a panel? If a panel, right-click on the panel, select Properties, then change the Panel Thickness to something like .001. That's the closest you'll be able to get to zero.

If you're using a wall, right-click on the wall, select Properties, then change the Reference Line Offset to whatever the Wall Thickness is set to. Then auto-size again.
