I'm trying to create a car stock control system.
I want to be able to choose a car to buy and then once the car has been chosen I would like to subtract by 1 the amount of cars that I have in stock.
Any help would be very appreciated!!

You will initially get the number of cars by a Count query eg Count (something) by cartype where status=available. When you do something to allocate a car you will update the status to not_available in this example. You then force a requery of the form recordsource and the appropriate count appears decremented . mike.stephens@bnpparibas.com
