Hi -

I would like to add (for current outstanding tickets) subtotals for level 1 and level 2 technicians tickets and then add those two subtotals to make one total ticket count.

Is this possible? Currently, the level 1 and level 2 columns are suppresed.

I am including a link to the CR8 file, if you could look at it please. Can you offer me some answer of tips/advice?

Thanks.

G

I did a quick test. I created a running total of @Level1 to evaluate on a formula (where @level1 <> "") and had it reset on the Group CallLog.Tracker. It appears to be working. Of course you would need three more running totals. One for @Level1 on that would not reset and similar ones for @Level2.

I hope this helps.

Create two running total fields, and place them in your Report Footer.

#Level1
Field to summarize: CallLog.CallID
Type of summary: distinct count
Evaluate based on a formula: len({@Level1}) > 0

#Level2
Field to summarize: CallLog.CallID
Type of summary: distinct count
Evaluate based on a formula: len({@Level2}) > 0

Hi -

In added your above suggestions and it's providing the subtotals. But, the function 'Len' is used to count characters in string text - how is it working here? Just curious.

How can I add/calculate these two (subtotal) formulas to produce a total?

I tried a couple of different methods, but it didn't work so good....

Thanks for your help.

G.
