I have a report which includes records three types of records. (Assets, Liability, and Equity) I want to print a report that subtotals by each one of the three types of records and totals the liability and equity.

Example Assets $10
Total Assets $10
Liability $5
Total Liability $5
Equity $5
Total Equity $5
Total Liabily and Equity $10

Thanks for your help!

Sonny:

Assuming (always a dangerous endeavor) that Assets, Liability, and Equity are field names in a table or tables use this formula in a text box in the report footer and/or group footer:

=sum([FieldName]) where field name is Assets, Liability, Equity.

Putting the formula in a group footer will sum over the range of the group; in the report footer, over the whole report.
