HELP!
I need to not show Saturday, but I need to include the Sales in with Friday's sales, whenever a Saturday is present. (This is a cross-tab report.)

This is what I now show:

Day# Day of Wk Date Sales
1 Monday 5/5 1200
2 Tuesday 5/6 1300
3 Wednesday 5/7 1400
4 Thursday 5/8 1500
5 Friday 5/9 1600
5 Saturday 5/10 1700
SUBTOTAL FOR WK: 8700

This is what I want to show:

Day# Day of Wk Date Sales
1 Monday 5/5 1200
2 Tuesday 5/6 1300
3 Wednesday 5/7 1400
4 Thursday 5/8 1500
5 Friday 5/9 3300 <--- need
SUBTOTAL FOR WK: 8700

Thanks in advance! :)

create a dimension variable <dayinwords> with the following formula
= if(<dayofweek> = "Saturday") Then "Friday" Else <dayofweek>

while making the cross tab choose your day# and the new variable as the cross tab header. Sort on the day# object and hide it.

Also to add some more point you need to take care of the same thing for Date also to show the Friday's Date for Saturday so that the Measure will aggregate properly. If this is required in one two many reports you can implement the same thing at the Universe Level using CASE statement.
