I know how to get the total of just the top n using running totals. However. what I need is this total, then a line for "Others" and then a grand total.

I can't seem to come up with a set of formulas that will do this.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Marty

This is the approach I would recommend.

Create a report showing TopN and including others.
Do a conditional suppress of the Details section with
GroupName ({Table.GroupField})="Others"

That will give you the Total Only for the "Others" group.

We have covered the idea of this and Dynamic TopN in previous issues of Crystal Clear.
