I have a DID range of 292-0500 to 292-0699. When a telco caller receives a call from my Mitel 3300 Rls. 7, they see one number, which is the main local number for my site 531-4545. When callers from my PBX dial out, the caller receives 531-4545 instead of the individual caller's DID. 1) I only have the 531-4545 number specified once (I think0 which is on my operator console, so where else could the system be getting the number from on outgoing calls? 2)How do I configure the system so outgoing calls show the DID? I suspect I do this through CPN substitution in the U-NSU IMAT programming, if so, could you provide an example of how it should be programmed? Thanks in advance.

You can't fix stupid, you can only work around it.

In the CPN table you place your Extension Numbers in the DID Ranges. They can be input individually or separated by hyphens and or comma's.

The substitution would be the remainder of the number with X's replacing the ext number

Assuming your Extensions are 3 digit.

500-699 NPA2920XXX

To activate the CPN Table you need to go to the Outgoing Call Characteristics, then trunk CPN tables, then check the box next to your entry(s). As an added note, this is where you find the default number 531-4545.

You need to reboot the NSU to activate
