Hi all
I have extensions that need to fall in a DDI range that is different from their directory numbers.
I know how to translate the incoming number via trunk attributes but would like to be helped with translating the
extension numbers for outgoing calls.
Extension numbers 2xxx and outgoing number must be 4xxx.
How do I achieve this?

Software level matters

Release 8.0 PR1. Active Software: 14.0.0.91

Edit the User in the user and config form. There is a field for CPN Number. Configure this with the desired number for outgoing.

Alternatively, Configure the Associated Directory Form for CPN against the User Ext (Same thing different form)

You can also do DID Ranges for CPN Substitution if you want.
That way you can do a while range rather than on a user basis.

It's in the help files.

Thanks kwbMitel that works. Was wondering how the same can be achieved in earlier versions.
@sarond, the help files dont explain in detail how I can use DID Ranges for CPN Substitution to change DN 200- 3099 to an outgoing caller ID of 400-599.
If you understood from the help files please assist by clarifying.

Using your example of all 2xxx numbers sending out 4xxx, and assuming you're in the USA, it would look like this:

DID Range = 2000-2999
CPN Substitution = 2125554xxx (or whatever your DID numbers are)

Then assign the DID Range line(s) to the circuit in CPN Substitution form for PRI trunks, or in the SIP Peer Profile for SIP trunks.
