When I go to my subscribers and try to configure preferred devices the drop down menus are grayed out and I can't access them-they all have no devices in the fields.I am trying to get music on hold working and need to set these fields.I am remoting into the server from another state if that matters.probably something obvious but I'm stumped.Any help appreciated.TX.JimC-

Are you trying to use External Sourced MOH? or Internal Sourced MOH? Internal doesn't use the sound card.

External, fixed audio source which as I understand is the soundcard.Internally I would create a .wav file correct?

WAV or MP3 the system will accept either. There is a Cisco CD of MOH files that comes with the system. Be careful what you use. I've had customer sued over using a radio station as MOH or using CD's for MOH. You have to pay fees to do either as they are copyrighted material. MOH is considered to be re-broadcasting radio and broadcasting music CD's.

Thanks I was aware of the copyright violations. If you go to your subscriber's soundcard setting can you chg the fields or are they grayed out?

I am away in training this week. I can check when I return. Maybe someone else can check this quicker.
