Hello,
I am trying to run batch reports in access 2000 for an invoicing system I did so basically the reports have a number of subreports showing different products, adjustments etc for the invoice.

When I run the report for one invoice using a paramater which reads the invoice number from my form the report shows the subreports.
All the subreports read the paramter of invoice number on the form also.

For some reason if I just set the link child and master fields in properties of the subreports the subreports do not show up in preview ???

Im not worried about the reports that run from the forms because they work ok.

but when the user wishes to print a batch of them by entering parameters for printing invoices within a range the user enters the range but the subreports are not showing up at all!

I have checked and rechecked the child/master links from parent report to subreport. I have checked the queries the subreports are based on etc...

I cant see what could be causeing this problem. Even when I changed the border width of the subreports so that at least I should be able to see the subreports border in preview the subreports didnt show up! it is like they are invisible but of course they are not!

Its a strange one and any help would be greatly appreciated.

The invoice number that joins the tables and hence the reports is a long integer and in some cases it is autonumber (main table) and others it is just a number (related tables).

thanks for any help
