Subreports in ASP

hello,
I am trying to open a report through asp which has a subreport in it.
how can I open the subreport through asp ?
If I try at the moment with setting the logoninfo then opening the report I get an error 20618.


OpenSubreport ..... ?

this is not a subreport problem.
after more investigation, it seems that if a formula exsits in the report, the report does not open.

does anybody know anything about this ?
