using Crystal Version 5 and VB Version 5

I am fairly new with Crystal. Here is my main report:
(from the RenewTable)

header is customer id and contract id
details is description

group detail and new page on any change in contract

okay then I need some help in designing the subreport (from a different table but which has a contract id number)
Do I create it the same way as my main report with the headers and details and groupings, etc.? But where do I insert it in my main report - in the header? I keep getting this error that "object to big for page to display" or something like that. Please help! I'm desparate!

First, in design view, open the subreport, and make sure the fields, and their labels are small enough to fit inside the white 'paper' space in the subreport. Second, make sure the subreport is not too wide for the main report. Third, do not put it in the page header. If you do that, and its too long (top to bottom) then Crystal will try to fit a bunch of them on one page, and that cant happen....did this help?
