Subreports causing blank Main report

Hi,
I am running CR10 in SQL 2000. I have a Main report with 9 (yes 9) small linked subreports, a report dashboard of sorts ,all but one of the reports is limited to a "top 5" so only one expands in size/varies in size. I have a problem when running the report for a year, that one silly report expands a bit too much and the report returns as Blank.

IS there a way to accomodate this, using maybe a Custom Page size, or some conditional formatting? The page size is Leagl Landscape now and every mm of space is used...I will be running this report in CR 10 myself..
