subreports and shared variables 1

Hi

Ive been working on a report which has two subreports all linked together by the key field Course Code, i am then passing shared variables between the subreports to the main reports to work out actual/expected hours, all this works fine except that the first record results appear against the second course i.e

calculated fields Data from Subreports
Cse Cde No. Enrol Exp GLH Act GLH exp ses act ses
er901269 2 0 0 100 78
er901270 10 200 156 50 25
er901271 10 100 50

etc etc

any ideas what im doing wrong, any help would be greatly recieved

You may have shared variables being processed in the same section of the main report as the subreport that generates them. In some cases I have had to split a section into A and B components to get the formulas to evaluate after the subreport is complete. Ken Hamady
