Subreport to show fruit varieties that ripen at similar time

I have a report that shows one fruit variety per page. I want to have a subreport on that page that shows all fruit varieties that ripen within 10 days before, to 10 days after the variety on the page. There is a RIPE field on the main Report page and on the SubReport items. Is there a way to define the Child-Master links?

Make the recordsource of your sub-form filter for those values:

FIELD: RIPE

Criteria: between (Forms!MainFormName!Ripe - 10) and (Forms!MainFormName!Ripe + 10)

Does that work with a Report? Something like:
"Reports!MainReportName!Ripe - 10
