I have one large master report, Total, which contains 4 subreports A, B, C, and D.
The subreports all pull different data with the same parameter time range, a rolling 13 months. Everything was working smoothly until, to speed up displaying the report, I created a snapshot of reports A, B, C, D to run daily at 6AM and Total to run daily at 6:30AM. Now when I select reports A-D they display quickly and without a problem from the snapshot. Total runs for a while and then returns an "Error: Subreport can not be shown for each subreport".
I thought Total would have to run later so that the data from the subreports would be available, which is why I scheduled for a later time. Does that even matter? Would I have to schedule all 5 at the same time? Is it possible to have a snapshot scheduled for a report with more than one subreports?
What do I need to do to have the user not have to wait for the 4 subreports to be generated when viewing Total?
Thanks!
