Is there a way to rotate a subreport in any version of Crystal Reports?

What exactly do you mean, and why do you want to do it?

Yes, I have done this in a report to add an address cover page that will fit in a 9 X 12 window envelope - the report is oriented landscape, but the address needed to line up as if it were oriented portrait. This was done in both 8.5 and XI.

I have done this with data fields and text objects, I have not tried it with images or charts. You can also only rotate 90 degrees (top is to the left) or 270 degrees (top is to the right).

Right-click on the individual objects and select Format. On the "Common" tab, change the text rotation value and click on OK.

A computer only does what you actually told it to do - not what you thought you told it to do.

BTW, you'll have to rotate individual fields inside the subreport and make sure that it won't be longer than the page is wide. AFAIK, you can't rotate the whole report, so you have to be careful how you design it.
