I have a report where I'm passing a variable to the main report that is used in several formulas.

The requestor has now asked that I add a section to the report which is basically just the main report grouped differently and then totaled. This new section also needs to use the number that I'm getting from the first sub report.

Is there any way to pass a variable from one sub report to another in Crystal 2008?

Or is there some other way that I could do this?

Thank you

You can pass values from one subreport to another in the same way you can pass to the main report. Just place the new subreport in a section below the one containing the initial sub. This could be the report footer even. Then reference the shared variable in the same way as you did in the main report.
