Subreport not showing information

I have been using the subreport feature to try and get three different pieces of information in the same report. I inserted an original subreport and linked it by the employee lastname. Since this first report, I have tried to insert another two subreports. One for Promotion history and the other for compensation history. I have linked the compensation subreport by the employee link field, while the promotion history was linked by the employees last name. The problem is that no information appears in the last two subreports and I can't understand why. I have basically done the same steps from the first subreport, yet the last two remain blank, all that appears are the column headings. All three subreports appear in the same group footer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

try placing each subreport in separate subsections of the group footer....perhaps one is overwriting the other 2 Jim Broadbent
