Hi All,

I'm using ODBC 8 and Crystal 8.5

I probably have quite an easy problem to solve.

I've created a sub-report in the group footer of my report. and linked on the person Id the sub-report should then brings up name and email address of all people in the group. However it is only returning the last person in the list. Any ideas?

Many thanks

Sam

Hi,
In what section is the person ID in the main report?

How is the main report Grouped?

Hi Turkbear,

The report is grouped by Group 1 Body, Group 2 Type and Group 3 is person ID.

I want the subreport to run Group 1 or Group 2.

Any help appreciated.

Sam

You can't link by person id as that would be a single id, which is what I suspect your current dilema derives from.

Whatever group footer you place the subreport in, link by that same group field in the subreport. Now you'll get all people for that grouping.

Hi,

Thanks for your help. I have done this and it works wonderfullly, however in the group footer of my people ID's is a true/false formula which works out if a person should be shown in my list or not. Is there away of passing this through to the subreport without having to do the complex formulas again in my subreport?

Many thanks

Sam
