Is there any way to link a subreport to an entire group rather than just one field?

ex: I have a main report with 3 problem tickets for the same product. The subreport is linked by product, showwng all changes that went in for the problem ticket product, thus showing the same set of changes 3 times. I would like to group the problem tickets by product and have the subreport only show 1 set of changes for the group of 3 problem tickets. Any ideas? Thanks for the help!!

Just place the linked subreport in the product Group header or footer (NOT in the detail section).
