In my main report I have my detail section showing usually 3-5 line items, which are allowed to grow but in my example are only growing to 8 lines, then in my subreport which is in the report footer I am showing images. The problem is when I have more than 2 line items the subreport is starting on the next page when it will surely fit on page one.

My Subreport is made up of only a detail section, showing only images of items referred to from the main report with SEE DRAWING and its height is 6299 twips.

The main report is made up of a Page Header A 2280 Twips
Page Header B – 401 Twips
Detail Section – 221 Twips
Report Footer – Only 100 Twips it contains the Subreport
Page Footer – 221

My top and bottom margin are both set to the default 1/4 , which should allow for about 15500 twips per page and according to my calculation I’m only using 10969.

Anyway I need these images to fit on page one if possible.

Two strings walk into a bar. The first string says to the bartender: 'Bartender, I'll have a beer. u.5n$x5t?*&4ru!2[sACC~ErJ'. The second string says: 'Pardon my friend, he isn't NULL terminated'.

Right click the Report Footer and select format section.

Turn off the keep together. In fact, do this on every object and section you can find until you get a single page.

I had already turned it off in the section expert but not clicking on the subreport itself and turning off Keep Object Together there, this fixed it, thank you.
