I added a supreport to a working report, with master/child fields linked properly. Report runs for 30 or so pages then starts producing the same header with no detail for what looks like infinite pages. Deleting some subreport data moves the problem to a different page. Tried the same software on W2000 with Office2000 and XP with OfficeXP. Same problem. Tried changing properties (can grow, can shrink, borders, etc.). Anybody heard of this before?

Hi

Have you tried compact and repair on the database?

If this does not fix it would need to know more about the table, query structure and any code in the report/subreport

Yes, I compacted and repaired; made no difference. Based on your comment, I decided to make the simplest version of the report and data that would cause the problem. I eliminated code, records, report sections. AND I FOUND THE PROBLEM (not the solution, yet). If the subreport contains more records than fit on a page (in this case 25, which means 25 linked records) Access never prints any detail and apparently never recovers. Just prints header and incremented page number. I now have to figure out how to allow the subreport to span pages.

FOUND IT! Turned off the "Keep Together" flag for the detail section. WHEW!
