HI all,

I am using crystal reports version XI release 2.
I am creating a weekly report.
In which I have 3 subreports.

subreport1 subreport 3
subreport2

The issue is the subreport2 is overlapping with the subreport1. How can i make the crystal report to print the subreport2 in the next line of subreport1 ..not to overlap it..

Thanks in advance

Just to replicate my issue.
create any two subreports and place them both in the same section.

Then you might see what I am saying...

any help is appreciated.

You should place them in separate sections, e.g., GH1a and GH1b.

unfortunately i cant do that...since there is no other way except that i am making the changes in database...so that i can pull the data from one subreport rather than two.

Thanks for the reply LB.

I don't see why you can't use the two separate sections. Please explain. If the issue is the subreport #3, place that in GH1a, sub #1 in GH1b, and sub#2 in GH1c. THen format GH1a to "underlay following sections".

when i use underlay following sectins then the subreport is starting startign from where the subreport 1 is starting..

and regarding why I can put them in different sections let me explain...

the subreprots are in this order in the section RF1

subreport1 subreport3.
Subreport2

if i put the subreport 2 in RF2 then it will print after printing the subreport 1 and 3. However I want the subreport2 to be started after subreport but not after subreport3.

Hope I explained the situation well.

Place subreport 3 (which I am assuming is on the right side of the display) in RHa and format only that section to underlay following sections. Then place sub1 in RHb and sub2 in RHc.

I couldnt work on the real one though as we had already made the changes ...and it is almost ready for release...

i should really appreicate for your real cool solutions...

Hope I can give you more than one star...
