I have two subreports that are formatted into columns, as soon as I put subreports on the primary report, columns jump all over the place. Does anyone know how to keep subreport column formatting on the main report in Access 2003.
Multi-column subreports don't "jump all over the place" for me. What do you mean? Are the columns in the subreport set to display across then down? Are there link master/child properties?
I have 2 subreports, both formated into 2 columns "Down, then Across". Both reports are linked to the main report. When subreports are displayed individually, 2 columns are on the same page, as soon as reports are embeded into the main report, first column shows on the first page, next one - skips a page and is displayed in the same place as the first column. The second report does the same, skips a page and places one column per page.
Multiple columns in subreports only work if displayed across then down. You can get around this by not allowing a subreport to grow or creating values that order the records so that Across then Down renders like Down then Across.
