Subreport Drill down

Using v10
I have an unlinked subreport chart within a Main report (chart lies within the subreport Header and main report header underplayed to accommodate for data).
When I click on the subreport chart (based on groups) it takes me to the exact same view of the chart rather than the drill down detail. So you have to essentially drill down twice to get to detail.
1) how do I set it so I can drill down only once from the main report to the subreport detail without having to re-view the chart
2) Since the chart on the Main report is underplayed I have to shrink it. If I can not accomplish #1 (or even if I can I’d like to know the solution to this) once I click the subreport chart in the Main section if I am to see it again, what do you have to do see to see it in full size, not the smaller version on the main page. Essentiall a can grow to fit type of thing.

Hi,
It does this way, when you drill down on the subreport, not if the subreport is on demand, so maybe you could drill down on an on demand subreport to show the details of that chart?

I am not quite sure what Dana is saying, but I am using v11 and have the same questions as Richard. It seems to me that if the subreport is automatically displayed in the main report, presumably all the data must be available having presented the subreport, then why can't we click on a group in the subreport chart and have the group drill-down come up immediately? Why the need to drill down to the *same* subreport view and *then* drill down to retrieve that data you were looking for? Is there no way to leave out the first drill down step to the actual subreport?
