I have a blank CR8.5 main report that contains subreports based on Sybase ASE. Incidently, this is a different report, not the one I was asking questions on, it just always seems to end up that I need a ton of subreports. Anyways, this report contains unlinked subreports as I could not get all I need on one report only (due to groups and data, etc...).

The first part of the report works properly, it's a manual crosstab containing information for every 15 minutes in a call center. Under this, I have to place a second subreport which are my phone stats divided in different periods (0700-0900, 0915-1200, 1215-1500 and 1515-1700). This subreport works very well if I run it alone, but the second I add it as a subreport, it comes up blank in all but 2 fields which instead contain totally incorrect information.

It should look like :
0700-0900
Tot E-Rcd 394 304 304 206 135
Tot F-Rcd 211 148 113 91 57
Tot E-Abd 4 5 8 1 4
Tot F-Abd 10 1 3 1 0

but instead it looks like
0700-0900
Tot E-Rcd
Tot F-Rcd 2
Tot E-Abd
Tot F-Abd 0

I should mention, each of the numbers is either a running total or the results of a formula derived from one of those running totals. In the subreport, the results are printed in the Page header (as it otherwise printed too much information) and in the main report, the subreport is in details.

The odd thing though is alone it works, but if I attach it to the main report and then save it alone again, it no longer works, I get the same blank data except in 2 fields.

Suggestions?
Thank you in advance.

Oh son of a .... why did I post this in Crystal Enterprise??

Anyways, I found out something. If I attach a report to a main report as a subreport, why the heck does it turn the Page Header into Report Header B... That is why no information appears, can I bypass this?

Thanks,
ITCPhil

This is a few months old, I don't recall what was done, but it works. (It was a manual crosstab btw, not a system crosstab)
