Subreport accessed twice 1

When I refresh a main report, I noticed that the "Subreport: Reading Records" happens twice for the same amount of records (4486).

The subreport is in GH1a and contains two shared variables that are references in GH1b. Both variables are two different sums in the Report Footer of the sub report.

Is this normal behavior or is there something I may have done to cause it to refresh twice?

If the sub is in the group header, it will execute once for each instance of the group, so if there are two group instances, it will execute twice.
