Hi all

Does anyone know of any issues setting up AD controllers, CCR servers and CAS servers on seperate subnets that are all associated with the same AD site?

Does anyone know of a best practice doc that releates to this?

Thanks

As long as they all trust each other, can see each other, and have access to each other, then I don't see any issues.

There are no more PDC's! There are DC's with FSMO roles!

Differences in subnet are irrelevant. As long as they are in the same AD and there's only a single Exchange org, you are fine. Normally when you define an AD site, you specify all the subnets that make up that site, and since E2007 uses the AD sites, it will know that all the different roles are in that same site. Being in different subnets won't make a difference and shouldn't introduce any strange behaviors.

What he said :) I confused subnets with domains...

stupid fingers...

I have five domains all on different subnets and everything works just fine. Everything is setup properly in sites and services.
