I have a page in a website to submit information to my e-mail address. It worked fine until I made a minor change in a COMMENT line. I saved it - didn't publish it, for I have saved many times before without publishing. But now, the information never comes to my e-mail address. I have another page in the same web that still sends me e-mail. Any ideas?

I tried to restore the page from a saved copy of the web on a CD, but I get the message, "The server extensions were unable to access the file "[name of file]". Please check file permissions."

Can you give us the URL of the page that is not working? Tell us more about the change you made in the comment?

If the problem page is a local copy and not the remote copy - you could log in to the remote web with FP and publish the live page down to your local web.

Thanks for answering. I found a way to use my backup page, and now everything is cool.
I am still curious as to why it quit working. I was trying to use the code somebody suggested to substitue for vowels in my e-mail address to keep down some of the spam. But then I discovered that the only place my e-mail address appeared in the html code was in a comment. (It was from the site before using Front Page, and a ! had been added.)
