I am trying to run a form on my intranet and when I submit the form I am recieving this error message

Cannot run the FrontPage Server Extensions' Smart HTML interpreter on this non-HTML page

Any ideas?

Hi Crystalfire,

Although this could be a problem with extensions, double check your file and confirmation URLs for missing files or syntax errors.

Attempting to use a confirmation page residing in a _private folder would be the type of thing that can caude this problem.

Here is the KB artcle if you want to take a look. Not much there though.

I have seen the message before, reinstalled the extensions and the form subsequently work.

My recommendation with forms is to double or triple check form properties before publishing.

If there is a glitch in the extensions, sending to a custom confirmation can circumvent this, occasionally.

Hope I have been of some help,
Micheal
