For my backup stuff, I need to run a job on my backup server that is called from another server.

SERVER-B runs a job at midnight that syncs a mirrored disk set and then submits a job to run my backup program.

I moved the backup hardware and software to another server, SERVER-BACKUP. The synch job still runs on SERVER-B and I need to run the backkup job that resides on the new server from that synch job. Is there some kind of a call statetment that you could put in the SERVER-B bat file that would run a bat file on the other server, SERVER-BACKUP?

Hope this makes sense to someone out there. Doug Strong

We use "at" at the end of a batchfile on one server to schedule a job 5 minutes in the future on another machine. If you'd like to see a copy of the batch routine to determine the current time, add 5 to it, and schedule the job leave your e-mail and I'll send you a copy. Good luck.

Thanks, The "at" command is probable what I need, but please send me a copy of your program.

Thanks

mcconmw, for my own interest I wish to see your batch routine. Could you send me a copy too? I would really appreciate.
