All,

I am trying to set up a very simple form on a web page that will send the results of a simple text box to a file on the server or by e-mail. I do not wish to use CGI etc I want to keep it as simple as possible. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Adam.

Sorry to be a pain. When I use the above, I get an error stating that it wouldn't complete because the default mail client is not properly installed.

Thanks,

Adam.

Hi mate,

That is just your browser that is alerting you, it is nothing to do with the actual code as such..

FOR IE: Go to TOOLS>INTERNET OPTIONS>PROGRAMS and select a default mail client to use with your browser..

Netscape: Have not got a clue how to but it will be there somewhere...

Hope this helps Wullie

Thanks for the help.

Adam.
