Hi,
What broke and how can I fix it, and put something in place to keep it from happening time and time again?. Thanks

Problem
I have a form library that I built using an InfoPath form (2007). It has the following data connections for submitting a form.

Name: Main Submit
Type: Submit Data
File Name (experssion): max(@ID) + 1
Allow overwrite if form exists: no

Name: RetrieveIDs
Type: Retrieve Data
Data source type: Secondary data connection

If the form is saved before the submit button is clicked (which disappears after the first submit), I recieve this error

"InfoPath cannot submit the form.
Some rules were not applied.
InfoPath cannot submit the form.
The form was not submitted because a form named 509.xml already exists in the document library at Request. Please contact the provider of the form"

Yet I'm telling it to fetch the id and add one??, thanks again for any insight.
