Hi folks.

This isn't fully a Frontpage issue but it's the program I am using so apologies if it's in the wrong forum.

Our college's intranet is split into two areas. One area for staff and Students and one area for staff only. To get to the Staff area staff go to a login page where they enter an ID and password then press the submit button to log in.

Users can either use the submit button by clicking it with the mouse or tab out of the Password box, which then shifts the focus to the button where the user can press the enter key.

If a user presses enter before tabbing out of the password box the screen is cleared and the user isn't given access.

Is there a way so that the user can press the enter key at any stage - IE without having to tab out of the password box after entering the password.

I would appreciate your feedback.

Thanks in advance

Whenever I create a form in FP 2002 from scratch (where it gives you the submit/reset buttons), hitting enter submits the form.

As I understand your question, you're wanting to be able to submit the form when pressing "enter," right? If that's not happening, you might post the relevant code.
