How would I set this up in Illustrator? Read below!

Has anyone worked with sublimation that would know how one would print from the front side, around the sleeve panel and to the back panel and stitch up the shirt so that everything lines up?

I am working with a large format sublimation press and printer and want to have a graphic transfer from the front around the sleeve and onto the back. What are some easy steps to take to figure this out

hmm; irregular topography. Ran into this in setting up texture maps for 3-D models.

I think the easiest way would be to cut a shirt apart along the seams in question, after making some marks that will show you where those seams meet. Then you can scan or otherwise re-create the fabric pieces as templates to use in AI.
good luck; sounds like a tricky one...

Yeah we cut up the sample, and I am currently taking that template with those panels drawn out and making a paper version of it only smaller. i have lines going horizontal across the panels...

Because the lines are going from left to right they will follow the curvature of the body along the fabric. Everything looks fine until you get to the top when the panels connect near the collar the line bow and taper out toward the collar and when the Sleeve is attached the lines match only on the sides but not at the top. So now my concern is that i am going to have to adjust the art that i was told could not be adjusted...

Sheesh I mean Seriously!

yeah topological issues can be a nightmare. Something I don't miss from not having gone into 3-D modeling.

good luck!
